49. First Day at School #Inspirational Moral Stories
It was Gail's first day at school. The class teacher
welcomed her and made her sit in the front row. Gail was nervous because she
did not know anybody. Gail looked around her. All around, the children were talking
amongst themselves. They were so busy getting to know one another that they
hardly looked at her. Gail wanted someone to talk to. She wanted to make
friends, but she did not know how. Soon, it was arts class. The teacher asked
everyone to get their crayons out and colour the picture. Gail was colouring
her pictures quietly. After a while, the girl next to her said, "Oops! My
crayon broke. How am I going to complete my picture?" Gail said,
"Here, you can have mine," and she smiled. The girl thanked Gail and
said, "My name is Hannah. What's yours?" That was the beginning of a
beautiful friendship between Gail and Hannah.
