Job and God - A Story of Faith
Job and God - A Story of Faith
A lesson in trusting God even when life turns upside down.

The Righteous Man

Job was a good man, devoted to God. He had everything—wealth, a loving wife, and ten children. But Satan questioned his faith, claiming Job only served God because of his blessings.

The First Test

God allowed Satan to test Job by taking away all he had—his animals, his house, his children. Job lost everything. Yet, he did not complain. He still worshipped God, saying, “The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away.”

The Second Test

Satan said Job would break if he suffered physically. So Job was struck with painful sores all over his body. His friends doubted him, but Job held firm. He said, “Though He slay me, yet will I hope in Him.”

The Answer and Blessing

God spoke to Job through questions that showed His infinite wisdom. Job answered humbly. Then Job saw God—and that was enough. God restored his health, doubled his wealth, and gave him new children and a long, blessed life.

Pearls of Wisdom

1. How was Job able to keep his faith in God despite losing everything?
Job trusted that God always knows best. Even when he didn’t understand why things were happening, he kept his faith, knowing that God's plan has purpose.
🌟 Moral: Faith means trusting God even when life doesn’t make sense. Like Job, we must believe that everything happens for a reason—even our suffering.
