Woman and the Cock
A very pugnacious
woman once lived in a village. All she had was only a cock that used to crow in
the morning to wake people up. Her callousness really exasperated the
inhabitants there. One day, the lady decided to leave the village but at the
last time she cursed the village that there wouldn't be morning from next day,
as the cock was being carried away who was the only source to awake the sun.
She, in other village, thought the sun was glowing because of her cock. But
after some days, she became sad to think that in her earlier village all would
be living a life of darkness because the day appeared when her cock crowed but
she had unknown of the fact that her cock crowed after the sun had risen.
Moral:
Don't be pompous.
