Abraham and Isaac - A Moral Story
A moving tale of faith and obedience—Abraham shows unwavering trust in God's command, even when asked to sacrifice his only beloved son.

The Blessing of a Son

Abraham and his wife Sarah were righteous and prayed faithfully to God. Despite their devotion, they had no children. But when Sarah was 90, God blessed them with a miracle—she gave birth to a son named Isaac.

God's Test

Abraham and Sarah were overjoyed. They loved Isaac dearly. One day, God decided to test Abraham’s faith. He commanded Abraham to take Isaac to a mountain and sacrifice him.

The Journey

Though heartbroken, Abraham obeyed God. He took Isaac and travelled for three days. On the mountain, Abraham built an altar, placed the wood, and laid Isaac upon it. Just as he was about to sacrifice his son, an angel of God appeared.

Divine Intervention

The angel told Abraham not to harm Isaac. Abraham then saw a ram caught in the bushes and offered it as a sacrifice instead. God had tested Abraham and found his faith pure and strong.
