David and Goliath - A Moral Story
A legendary story of bravery and faith—David, a shepherd boy, defeats a mighty warrior through his unshakable trust in God.

The Fear of Goliath

The Philistines were at war with the Israelites. Among them stood Goliath, a giant of a man, strong and terrifying. For forty days, he challenged the Israelites to send someone to fight him—but no one dared.

Enter David

David, a young shepherd, came to visit his brothers in the army. Seeing Goliath and the fear in everyone’s hearts, David volunteered to fight. Though young and small, he had great faith in God and was fearless.

The Unexpected Warrior

Armed with just a sling and five stones, David stepped forward. Goliath mocked him, but David shouted back, trusting that God would help him. He aimed his sling and hit Goliath straight in the forehead—knocking him down.

Victory

David then took Goliath’s own sword and ended the battle. The Philistines, shocked and scared, ran away. David’s courage had saved Israel and proved that faith is greater than fear.
